Everything on this page runs in your browser. The file is not uploaded, the result is built on your own machine, and the page makes no request of any kind carrying your data.
This does not remove anything burned into the image. A name, an accession number or a date rendered into the pixels themselves stays exactly where it is - no amount of attribute stripping touches it, and this page does not look for it. Ultrasound, screen captures and scanned documents are the usual offenders. Look at the image before you send it.
One DICOM file. It is read, rewritten and handed back here; nothing leaves the page.
A file this tool cannot rebuild exactly is a file it refuses to rebuild at all. Producing something that opens here and nowhere else would be worse than saying no.
Everything not listed above is byte for byte what it was, including the pixel data and the transfer syntax. Study, series and instance identifiers are replaced rather than removed, consistently, so the file's own references still line up - the new ones sit under the 2.25 arc, which is derived from a random UUID and needs no registration.
Which attributes were changed and how, to send with the cleaned file. No values are included - not a patient name, an identifier or a date - so this can be pasted into a ticket or an email without editing it first.
