The same shape Nexus itself generates: Pukka-J's registered root, the arc set aside for identifiers a person creates by hand, then a timestamp and enough randomness to fill the 64-character limit. Use this when the UID is going into a Pukka-J system and you have no root of your own.
If your organisation has a registered root, UIDs you create belong under it rather than under ours. This adds a timestamp and as many random digits as the 64-character limit leaves, and tells you how many that is.
A random UUID written as a decimal number under the
2.25 arc, which exists for exactly this. Nobody has to allocate it
to you and it cannot collide with anybody else's. Use this when you have no root
and the UID is not going into a Pukka-J system.
Paste one in to find out whether it is well-formed, and what is wrong with it if not.
